About the event
Our first guest speaker of 2023 will be Mr. Carey L. Anderson. Anderson earned his B.A. in architecture from University of Kentucky. He was the first licensed African American architect in Kentucky, he was also the first to establish an architectural firm in the state.
Anderson Architecture firm has been in business for over 30 years. Some of the more notable projects his firm has been involved in was the KFC Yum Center and U of L's football stadium. Anderson firm is currently working on newly proposed Norton hospital in west Lousiville and W.E.B. DuBois Academy.
