Ralph possesses 33 years in the global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion field.

Prior to Brown-Forman, Ralph held successive positions in Northern

California as Chief Diversity Officer, Vice-President of Employee Relations

& Diversity and Head of Executive Development and Diversity for Safeway,

Corp, McKesson, Corp, and American President Lines respectively. He also

chaired the McKesson Foundation Board and was Operations Manager for

Pope & Associates, a diversity consulting firm out of Cincinnati, OH. Ralph

has also been a nuclear insurance underwriter, a partner in a men’s clothing

store and a teacher and basketball coach in the Cleveland, Ohio school

systems.

Current Board service includes The Muhammad Ali Center, Louisville

Central Community Centers, The Louisville Ballet, The Centre For Global

Inclusion, Center for Non-Profit Excellence, Brown Regional Cancer Center,

The University of New England, Spalding University, IMPETUS and

Bellarmine’s Rubel School of Business.

Ralph graduated from St. Francis College in Biddeford, Maine. Ralph also

holds Masters Degrees in Education and Human Resources and

Organizational Development from John Carroll University and the

University of San Francisco, respectively and he holds a Doctorate in

Leadership Education from Spalding University.

Ralph is married and when he is not spending time at work or with the

family, he can be found reading and enjoying music.
